Newsletters are Good for Your Health

Hello! I used to write a newsletter regularly and was usually at least moderately pleased with it, and fortunately most everyone else was too. Over the years, our database contacts became out of date and before long, very few people were receiving it.

Now, with my committed staff, I'm trying to rectify the database issues so I can let you know those important bits of information to make your lives better and keep you and your family healthy and pain-free. Please bear with us as we update the records and work out the bugs in the software. In this process, you may inadvertently receive an additional copy or two of the same message while we're busy fine-tuning our records.

So, this newsletter represents my renewed commitment to publishing the newsletter regularly, because while I enjoy writing it, it's also a concrete application of my commitment to you and your family's health. If you get just one bit of information that helps you in your everyday life, it's worth it to me to write it.

Dr. Waln's Family is "Changing"

Since Christopher, Phillip, and Tessa Waln there are undoubtedly some with whom I haven't had the chance to communicate in a while, I'd like to share a brief update about me and my family, most notably, our recent additions.

During the 4th quarter of the super bowl on Sunday, January 26, 2003 we had our first son, Christopher. During the medal round of curling in the winter Olympics on Sunday, February 19, 2006 we had Phillip. During the socialist party parades on May Day, May 1, 2007, we welcomed our daughter Tessa.

Yes, you did the math right - they are just over 14 months apart. Life is full, as are the diapers we are constantly changing, but my wife Amy and I (and our families) are enjoying the heck out of these kids!

Simon and Garfunkle are a Model for Better Chiropractic Care

At the beginning of 2005, I officially purchased my partner Todd's interest in our office, since he felt the itch to set up his own practice. So, much like Paul Simon after Garfunkle left, I'm now solo (with the requisite band of supporting players).

My practice, Prince Crossing Family Chiropractic, is still in the same convenient location in West Chicago, and we're making a few changes to the office to make better use of the space and serve you and your family better. I'm enjoying the new set-up and I think you will, too.

To stay on top of the most current research and provide the best chiropractic care possible for you and your family, I've continued my post-doctoral studies, immersing myself in subjects such as Active Release, and gaining the requisite expertise leading to these designations: To page top
